Questions you can ask when reading to your students:
Reading Comprehension and Analysis Questions: This document contains 20 different types of reading questions for Literary passage Comprehension (LC), Literary Analysis (LA), Informational passage Comprehension (IC), and Informational Analysis (IA). Literary passages include stories, biographies, and narratives. Informational Passages are more like Times for Kids article, National Geographic articles, etc. These same questions are used on the Reading Washington Assessment for Student Learning (WASL) in grades 3, 4, and 5.
