Usually homework will include math, spelling & reading activities. 

Students and parents should check off and sign the Fun Friday ticket when the week's homework is completed. In order to attend Fun Friday, student's must :

• turn in their completed reading log
• complete and turn in all their math homework
•  practice their spelling words for Friday's test
•  bring back their Home Journals for Friday writing 

Twenty minutes is a realistic time for second grade homework.  If your child is struggling or needs additional challenges, please contact me for modifications.

Home Journals:

On Friday, students will bring home their "Home Journals".  They will write about their week to you, and parents should write back to their children.  The Home Journals are brought back on Monday.
